Depression is a pervasive mental health challenge to society and so often it may be unrecognized. Shedding light and acknowledging an often taboo subject where a society seems to value “the buck up approach or ignore and pretend that nothing bothers us” is integral to our own and others mental health.

Hope is a pivotal factor in how we can help someone that is suffering a depression. We will identify and gain understanding of hope’s role in depression and explore what hope is and how we can bring hope to those suffering a depression.
